Delivery information

Delivery cost is detailed on each individual product page.

Standard delivery for items in stock is 1-3 Days

Next Working Day Delivery  (Excludes weekends and bank/public holidays) and providing no additional security checks are required and the goods are available.

Other regions outside of UK Mainland (including some areas of the Scottish Highlands) are subject to additional costs and may not be subject to next working day delivery. Offshore/Remote deliveries will be despatched immediately however the actual delivery time will vary depending on the delivery location. We will contact you if your delivery address is subject to additional charges.

Delivery

We do as much as possible to ensure that products are delivered to you on time and that you will receive them by the estimated delivery date on the website. Charnwood Catering Equipment Ltd is not liable for any delays.

Delivery will be to kerbside only. The delivery person/driver may at his/her discretion assist with delivering the goods to a location within the premises nominated by the customer, at the customers sole risk.

Next working day delivery is NOT guaranteed.

Deliveries take place between the hours of 8am-6pm Monday to Friday.

For large items the chosen delivery address must be accessible by an 18 ton lorry, please contact Charnwood Catering Equipment Ltd if access is restricted.  Failure to disclose such information may result in extra costs being incurred by a failed/aborted delivery.

When a product is delivered to you, please ensure you inspect for any damage.  Failure to check the goods and document any damage with the driver will result in a claim for damage being rejected.

Signing unexamined is not acceptable. In the event that the driver will not wait for you to inspect the goods, please sign for as 'Damaged'. Once signed as damaged, you must report the damage to Charnwood Catering Equipment Ltd Ltd in writing within 24 hours to make a claim. If an item has been installed this would deem the product being accepted by the customer and claims for damages may also be rejected. 

The buyer must inspect the received goods immediately upon delivery for possible deviations with what has been agreed on. Any complaints regarding the delivered goods must be submitted to Charnwood Catering Equipment Ltd in writing within 24 hours of delivery. After the expiration of the terms, the delivery shall be deemed irrevocably and unconditionally accepted by the buyer.

Delivery does not include the removal of old units or disposal of packaging materials (pallet, wrapping etc...). 

We will charge a redelivery fee if no one is available on site to take delivery of the goods.

A 25% restocking fee of the items value will be charged if delivery fails due to any of the points above, or if the product is returned and is not faulty. Delivery charges will not be refunded/credited. Please note that once an order has been placed and despatched the restocking fee will still apply.

Please DO NOT book any fitters or installers of the equipment ordered until after the goods have been delivered and inspected by yourself. We will not take any responsibility for any costs incurred as a result of arranging this in advance of delivery.

Customised / made to order goods

When customised or bespoke goods are ordered we will not accept ANY returns. You are responsible for ordering suitable goods for your requirements. If however the goods are damaged, you may be able to make a claim against the manufacturer or supplier if you have inspected and signed for the goods as damaged upon delivery. No claims against damage will be accepted if you have signed for goods without indicating any damage.
